GCSE Certificates 2023 for students who left June 2023

Following on from the examinations taken by your child in Summer 2023, we now hold their GCSE certificates in the academy.  Please can you ask your child to collect these from Visitors reception.  If your child would like you or someone else to collect their certificates on their behalf then this will need to be agreed in advance and I will need a written letter from them, the person collecting (including the ex-student) must bring photographic ID and be willing to sign for the certificates on the child's behalf.

The awarding bodies state that any unclaimed certificates can be destroyed confidentially 12 months after receiving them.  Please be aware that if the certificates aren't collected, awarding bodies no longer provide replacement copies but they can provide an official statement of results for which they do charge a fee for.  Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if your child could collect their certificates as soon as possible to avoid the need to pay a fee if a future employer or educational establishment needs proof of their exam results.
