Emily Roper - Associate Assistant Principal

Emily graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011 after completing her second placement at The City School. Following the completion of her PGCE, she joined the school as a Design Technology teacher. Since the school converted to Outwood Academy City, she has had experience within all areas of the Deeps across a range of posts. Some of her responsibilities included implementing and leading on a successful VMG programme across the academy, as well as VMG attendance and reward initiatives.

In 2016, Emily gained the role of Associate Assistant Principal within Deep Experience, a position she still holds currently. Emily will continue her responsibility within careers and employability, as well as leading on pledges, enrichment and supporting our student council.

Emily is looking forward to continuing her work within the Senior Leadership Team, to ensure all students achieve to the best of their ability and leave with the best life chances possible following the completion of their GCSEs.
