Italy Skiing Trip 2021

In February 2019, the academy launched its Programme of International Visits which have been made available to students to provide them with the opportunity to engage in rich cultural and sporting experiences. Subject to interest, two international visits will be offered each academic year and take place during the Easter holidays, starting in 2020. Below are details of the Skiing trip to Bormio, Italy in 2021.

Overview Of The Trip

This exciting tour will give the youngsters the opportunity to learn to ski, at a top skiing destination, with expert professional instructors. The residential will take place during the Easter holidays 2021. The exact dates will be confirmed approximately six months before departure.

The trip will include:

  • UK airport transfer
  • Flights/taxes/hold bag
  • Resort transfers
  • 4 nights full board accommodation (hot midday meal on the mountain)
  • 4 days lift pass
  • 3 × 5 hour lessons + 2 hours on last day (before return to airport in the afternoon)
  • Equipment hire- skis/boots and helmets
  • Ski and Sport Representative

The trip is being organised through ‘Ski and Sport’, a local, reputable tour provider.

Payment Schedule

  • Friday 7th February 2020 – £160
  • Friday 11th September 2020 – £160
  • Friday 9th October 2020 – £160
  • Friday 8th January 2021 – £160

What Do Students Require?

  • A valid Passport. This will be checked by the academy prior to departure
  • Due to the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, we are unsure if European Health Insurance Cards (‘EHIC’) will still be valid at the time of travel. Once confirmed this will be communicated to parents/carers
  • Further details about the essential items needed will be provided in due course
